I believe you attract what you are. And with everyone, we have different sides to us. We have days where we may be super excited, and days that are more calm. Overwhelming days and days where we just want to sleep haha. Each couple I meet – who hires me as their photographer – reflects a little part of me. I truly believe this. Friends always ask “Omg, you must have some bridezillas!!” and I say NEVER!! Because it’s true. All my brides are super sweet, down to earth and very trusting of me. And what a huge compliment! When I met Allie and Cam I wondered if I was being too much of a spaz (haha I get a little excited during engagement sessions!!), but Allie reminded me that it complimented their personalities and it brought them our of their shell a little more (I mean, I know how they feel!! Being photographed is sometimes awkward, so it’s nice to have someone there to loosen you up so you can just relax! Thanks Allie!!). I was so happy they flew in from California for their engagement session because they were able to meet me and know what to expect for their amazing wedding day. And amazing it was.

As you can see from the superb list of vendors above, the day was going to be perfect. Thanks to Staci from Unique Weddings, it truly was. She always amazes me with her planning skills!! Yes, this lady has some SKILZZZZZ!!! From Tailored Twig florals to the fabulous makeup of Lasting Luxe to the tunes of Grant Hemond…. it was truly a wedding to remember!  OH and did I mention it was at the absolutely beautiful Sunken Gardens!!
