The day couldn’t have been more perfect. You could feel the love as soon as you stepped foot in Sam’s room at the Vinoy. But this isn’t something that was new to me. I met Sam, Mike, Sam’s dad and Mike’s parents many months before during my “interview”. But this wasn’t just any normal interview. It felt more like dinner with my family. I met everyone at Red Mesa Cantina in downtown St. Pete and I have to admit, at first I was nervous. Before I got my studio, I would meet clients at a local Starbucks or Panera. But never at a restaurant. As soon as I showed up, I knew I wanted to be a part of their day. You could see how much their parents loved these two!!! We all sat down for dinner and the “interview” began 🙂 I soon realized, they were just like any other family; loving, funny and protective. I spent the next hour getting to know the Haworth’s and Dimas, and it was an evening I won’t forget. The next day I received an email saying they’d love to have me capture their day. It was perfect… I was so excited!! Kelly (Mike’s) mom even text me saying she felt like I was already part of the family (sighhh…yes I was smitten with this family).
I knew from all the details we shared over the months, that Sam and Mike’s wedding would be filled with love, fun, tears and some late night partying!! And they didn’t disappoint. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day with a more beautiful family. Than you for allowing me to be a part of such a meaningful moment with you and your family.
