 As a professional photographer, I think it’s very important to improve my skills daily. Photography is changing so quickly and with a blink of an eye, there’s a new lens, or new camera or new application – it can be hard to keep up. One way I educate myself on the latest trends is by putting together styled shoots for publication. This is a great way for me to continue to work on my strengths and improve my weaknesses. After styled shoots, it’s a great opportunity to try and get work published. It’s a way to get the work out there for critique (and sometimes it may be rejected … it’s all a part of learning). But there are other times (as you see below), where I ahve been so honored to see my work featured. From styled shoots to real weddings, I push my limits and continue to learn each day!
