I recently had the pleasure of traveling up to Winter Park to 2nd shoot Laura and Brice’s wedding with the talented Sarah Harris Bray. This was Sarah’s and I first meeting, and I was a tad nervous..but she made me feel completely at ease!! I had such a great time shooting with Sarah!! After running down the specifics of the day we headed over to the salon where Laura was getting ready. The instant I met the girls I knew I was it would be a laid back, awesome, southern wedding. (Laura’s family is from Shreveport, LA – only an hour away from where I grew up!!).
The wedding ceremony was at the gorgeous Knowles Memorial Chapel at Rollins College. Sarah mentioned she had also gotten married there 7 years ealier…so I knew it meant something special to her 🙂 One of my favorite parts of the whole day was right after the wedding ceremony!! The bride, with her dainty umbrella, the groom, entire wedding party and guests walked in procession from the chapel to the Winter Park Woman’s Club for the reception. The street was blocked off and cars honked their horns in congratulations as the entire crew headed to the reception.
The reception hall was just perfect. Quaint, classy with a touch of southern charm. The wedding party and guests danced and laughed all night long!! We even ended up on the dance floor for a few songs!! Thank you to Sarah Bray (and family). So awesome to meet you guys!! And to Laura and Brice, I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!!!
I didn’t get a chance to ask Laura about her nickname for Brice..but it’s still cute as ever 🙂

these kiddos rocked! besides being absolutely adorable, they had SO much energy!!! I love the next two shots 🙂
