I had a recent wedding client tell me she loved seeing my notes about all my clients on my site, facebook, instgram etc. She said she felt like I really got to know my clients and I truly loved them all. And she’s right. Each time I post a wedding, I get to re-live those special moments that I was hired to capture. I get to go through each frame and laugh or cry with the couple…and it makes me even closer to them. Each wedding is so extremely important to me. As I tell any potential clients; I’m here to develop a friendship with you, be in your life and capture moments all throughout your life (If they’ll have me of course:)
The wedding of Jasmine and Sharkey means so much more than I can explain. We had spoken over the phone about where their wedding would take place, the feeling they wanted and especially the moments they wanted captured on film. I was delighted to fly to New York to spend the weekend getting to know them and their families, and witnessing a truly beautiful event between two even more beautiful women. I never felt like a stranger among their families – they made me feel like family. I laughed and cried in between frames along with their families. I knew this was truly a beautiful moment between two women who loved each other more than I could fathom. True love has no boundaries. No color, no gender….it’s one love between two people.
Every detail of their wedding day was a DIY dream. Gorgeous flowers, amazing food and lots of love. The venue itself had some of the most lovely details I’ve seen. It was such an honor to be a part of this memorable day.
