I met Matt and Trang during their visit to St. Pete a few months ago. These adorable two live in D.C. but come back to Florida often (Matt is orginally from the area :), and they decided to get married on St. Pete beach this Spring. After chatting via email, I was excited to find out Trang would be wearing traditional Vietnamese attire (called a dai). I love love how they coordinated so well, and it didn’t hurt that Trang dress was this gorgeous royal blue ( I love color!!). ย The colors popped with the greenery of the gardens!! Our afternoon was filled with love and laughter. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

From serious to funny… I was waiting for one of Matt’s “looks” ๐

3 things about Matt I don’t know:
“Friends and family are very important to him; he’s passionate about making a difference in communities; and he loves to be outdoors.”
3 things about Trang I don’t know:
“I have a huge family with 7 siblings and 7 in-laws (I’m the youngest); 16 nieces and nephews that I adore dearly and miss very much because I’ve been living away from home for more than 6 years now.
Vietnam has a special place in my heart as I grew up there in a tiny rice-paddy filled village with no running water or electricity so one of the ways I remain connected to Vietnam is through music and food. I love Latin America, its people, and the Spanish language immensely.”
